Three Cheers for Aimee Lim
Three cheers for Aimee Lim, a Year 9 student who has recently got back from showcasing her remarkable talent on the global cheerleading stage in Florida.
Competing first with Team England at the ICU World Championship, Aimee and her team put on an energetic and impressive performance in the Youth All Girl Advanced Division. The girls secured the gold medal and the prestigious title of World Champions, a memorable moment for all.
Following this triumph, Aimee captained the team, Dauntless from Black Ice Academy, a Hutton-based cheer club, at the Summit Championships, also held in Florida. Here, Aimee’s squad’s stellar performance in the Under 18s Level 1 Category earned them a place in the coveted finals, where they achieved 4th place overall, an outstanding achievement for the local club.
Aimee’s success on the international cheer stage – a first for Brentwood School – is a testament to her talent and hard work. The School is exceptionally proud of her achievements and looks forward to her continued success.
