Brentwood’s Equestrian team had a successful start to the new term at the recent NSEA (National Schools Equestrian Association) show jumping qualifiers held at Brook Farm Equestrian Centre. 
Regular members Sophie P and Charlotte C were joined by new recruit Anna L, whom we are pleased to welcome to the team and into Sixth Form life. Super rounds in the intermediate class were jumped by all, and Anna did very well having only ridden her mount for the first time the day before.
Brentwood School took runner up position to Woodbridge School, with Berkhamsted in third, enabling the team to gain a fabulous qualification for the national championships in October at Keysoe Equestrian Centre, Bedfordshire.
Charlotte and Sophie went on to jump stylish rounds in the Open, with a 4th placing for Charlotte. They both rounded off a busy afternoon with super results in the advanced Open class to be placed 3rd and 6th respectively.
