Rising Star Max D Breaks Football Record
Year 10 rising star Max D is continuing to make waves in the football world, smashing records and defying expectations. Despite being only 14 years old, he has become a permanent member of the Arsenal U18 Squad, a remarkable feat for someone his age. He also proudly represents the England U17 national team – but Max isn’t stopping there.
In a groundbreaking moment, Max has been named in the Arsenal U19 UEFA League Squad (which mirrors the Champions League format), becoming the youngest player in the club’s history to represent Arsenal at this elite level.
Recently, his team travelled to Italy to face Atalanta, where Max continued his streak of record-breaking performances. Max scored during the game, making him the youngest-ever player to score in the history of the competition aged just 14 years and 263 days.
Max’s extraordinary achievements on the pitch are matched by his determination off it. While most of his U18 teammates have left school, it is fantastic to see Max working hard in and out of the classroom, balancing his busy training schedule and exceptional football ability with his studies.
As Max continues to push boundaries, it’s clear that this is only the beginning for this talented young footballer.
