Finance Assistant
Brentwood Senior School is an academically selective HMC co-educational independent school with small class sizes and a happy, ambitious and supportive staff team. It is part of Brentwood School, a 3-18 HMC school of 1900 pupils, just 20 minutes from London Liverpool Street.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and confident Finance Assistant to provide support within the School Finance Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent service to staff, parents, and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include credit card administration, making purchases on a timely basis where invoices cannot be obtained, ensuring budget holder approval before processing transactions, referring new suppliers for credit checking, and recording and posting transactions to the ledger accurately. Cash card administration involves reviewing expenditure and reconciling it with receipts, as well as posting transactions to the ledger.
