We are seeking to appoint a talented and passionate Teacher of Music to join our excellent department. We welcome applications from those in the early years of their teaching career, as well as those who are more experienced.

This role offers the potential for additional responsibility, such as leadership roles within the department, depending on experience and expertise which may be focused on aspects of academic or co-curricular music. The teacher of music will be responsible for planning, teaching and assessing high-quality, inspirational and differentiated music lessons across key stages 3 – 5 and to fully contribute to a thriving Music Department, taking an active role in a vibrant co-curricular and performance programme.

Brentwood School has its own pay scale that is significantly above the maintained sector and we also have a range of subsidised staff accommodation that may be available for the successful applicant should they need to relocate.
