The BSKC year has commenced for 2019 with a newly formed team representing Brentwood School.

Adam Harding (Third Year), Adam Richards (Lower Sixth) and Iaroslav Kovalev (Upper Sixth) began with a practice session at Brentwood Go-Kart Track on 6th March 2019 with 18 other teams from schools competing in the South East region.
The weather conditions (for a spectator) were horrendous with persistent rain as soon as they started, however, they managed to negotiate their way through spin-outs and crashes averaging 3/4 second faster laps times than their competitors. Brilliant practice results out of six races, coming 1st in five and a very close 2nd in one.

A week later (13th March 2019) saw them all meet again locally to attend the First Round race heats. The team pulled through easily and won all of their six heats, (this is the first time this has ever been achieved according to the Race Director at Brentwood Go-Kart Track) taking them through to Round two for the London & South East Regional Final at Buckmore Park on Saturday 4th May 2019. Mrs Jo-Anne Harding, Team Manager, is very proud of all three of them who performed phenomenally and is extremely honoured to be involved with the team this year.
